Pete Raulerson Passed Away Here Yesterday Morning

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Primitive Baptist Church for Peter Raulerson who passed away at his home here yesterday morning at 12:25 after an illness of several months. he was ninety years old last month. Mr. Raulerson moved with his family to what is now Okeechobee before there was another white family in this section of the country and has made his home here since. The body will be brought from Fort Pierce Saturday morning and carried to the Primitive Baptist Church where the casket will be open from 11 a. m. so that those who wish may view the remains. Following the funeral services at the church the body will be laid to rest in the Okeechobee Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in charge of Yates Funeral Home of Fort Pierce Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Louisiana Chandler Raulerson; three sons, Melville, Okeechobee; Harmon and Connie, Miami; two daughters, Mrs Adeline Clements and Mrs Faith Meserve, Okeechobee; a brother, Noel Raulerson, Okeechobee; 22 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and four great-great-grand-children.
