Sharon Ann Loope Ringenbach, 65, formerly of Virginia Beach, died March 2, 2008, in Halifax Regional Medical Center in Roanoke Rapids. Sharon was born in Massapequa, N.Y., to the late Edgar Loope and Lillian Collier Loope. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church. She is survived by two daughters, Kristy Ringenbach of Suffolk and Keri Ringenbach of Norfolk; two sons, Kevin Ringenbach and his wife Emma of Roanoke Rapids and Scott Ringenbach and his wife Marissa of Snow Hill, N.C.; and seven grandchildren, Donavan Ringenbach, Peyden Ringenbach, Ethan Ringenbach, Makenzie Ringenbach, Noah Ringenbach, Ryan Ringenbach and Gregory Gilmer Jr. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in All Saints Episcopal Church, Roanoke Rapids, with the Rev. Dr. Marjorie Holm officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Ringenbach's honor to the All Saints Episcopal Church, 635 Hamilton St., Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870. Askew Funeral & Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids is handling the arrangements.
