The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 3rd, at 11AM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in Vanceboro, NC.
Mr. Ormond was a native of Greene County and had made his home in the Epworth Community of Craven County for many years. For more than 30 years, he was employed with Hatteras Yacht Inc. in New Bern while being actively engaged in farming. Some of his hobbies included collecting various items, fishing, and searching for arrow heads. Mr. Ormond was a veteran of the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a proud member of Epworth United Methodist Church.
Mr. Ormond was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Haddock Ormond and brother, Jimmy Ormond.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 AM to 11 AM at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
