Marilyn "Kay" Rogers Nobles, 77, of Lexington passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Hinkle Hospice Home in Lexington. Kay was born August 10, 1945 in Hanover County, North Carolina to the late Luther James Rogers and Emma Neil Hardee Rogers.

Kay was a member of Colonial Baptist Church. She worked many years in the textile industry and was employed by Kayby Mills along with Lexington Home Brands. Kay lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed gardening, fish ponds, and making things. Her greatest joy in life was the time she spent with her family and grandbabies. Many special memories were made throughout the years on camping trips, which she loved. She was a faithful wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister and friend; she will be greatly missed by many.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry James Rogers and Jerry Neil Rogers.

On December 12, 1964, she married Thurman Nobles who survives of the home; one son, Michael Thurman Nobles and wife Billie Jo of Lexington; one daughter, Beverly Lynne Call of Lexington; two sisters, Betty Paul and husband George of Ayron, SC, Jennifer Lane and husband Larry of Thomasville; one brother, Barry Rogers and wife Geraldine of Lexington; four grandchildren, Candace Call "Lap Baby", Brittany Caudle "Two Hugs" and husband Aaron, Heidi Lambeth "Baby" and husband Brandon, Hailey Nobles; three great-grandchildren, Peyton Call, Ellie Grace Caudle, Alannah Leanne Caudle. She also leaves behind her fur baby, Benji.

A funeral service will be held Friday, March 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Colonial Baptist Church in Thomasville with Rev. Mark Hollar and Rev. Steve Jarvis officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM- 11:00 AM.
