Marian was a graduate of Fitchburg High School. On September 5th, 1949, she was united in marriage to the late Raymond J. Andrews, Jr. at St. Bernard's Church in Fitchburg. They were married for 71 years. Following their marriage, the couple lived in New Haven, eventually settling in Norwichtown.

Marian was an active member of Sacred Heart Parish in Norwichtown. She was among the first Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist and a longstanding member of the Rosary Altar Society. Marian was the founder of the Camillus Society, which brought weekly Masses and Communion Services to the residents of the Norwichtown Convalescent Home, volunteering there for 38 years. She was a Past-President of the Parish Council, Coordinator of Ecumenical Affairs, co-leader of the parish Bible Study group, Confirmation class teacher, Girls Choir leader, and lector. In addition, she sewed the cassocks and surplices for the altar servers, and trained both the altar servers and lectors.

For several years Marian was the Den Mother of Cub Scouts Den 1 Pack 11. She was well known for her annual role as Mrs. Claus, alongside her husband as Santa, for the Knights of Columbus and other organizations.

Marian was a Certified Medical Assistant. She was employed at Backus Hospital in the Medical Records Department and then as the Backus Tumor Registrar until her retirement.

She is survived by 4 sons, 2 daughters, 14 grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents and She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Mildred and her brother Bernard.
