One day my mother heard something in her garage. She opened the door to find this beautiful one eyed gold cat perched on her freezer. She gave him a bite to eat. She left the door to outside open. She thought he would find his way home. Little did my mom know, from that day forward, he was home. He liked to sleep on the freezer so mom named him Freezer. Freezer enjoyed several years with mom and dad until my parents passed. At that time, we welcomed him into our home. He was truly a blessing. He marched around like he had always lived here. He would curl up in bed with his brother cat. He spent his days grooming and napping. He was good as gold.
Two days before Freezer passed, he was acting like a kitten. He chased around a toy for most of the day. I had fun watching him. The following day, Freezer slept in the sunspot on the living room floor but this time he just didn't look like himself. He started crying during the night. Showing signs of a possible seizure or something neurological going on. He never got better from that time forward.
I am so thankful to have had him in my life.

We don't really know how old Freezer was. He was at least a couple years old when he arrived in the garage at my parents.

Freezer lived approximately 12 years 8 months 4 days.
