Victoria was a tragic Belgian civilian victim of World War II. She was killed in the German bombing of Cinema Rex, a theatre packed full of civilians and Allied soldiers, excited to watch a film during the holiday season. Over 500 people were killed in the attack, including Victoria. She had been visiting the cinema with her boyfriend, a British soldier; they were both killed in the explosion.
