Jack Lee Allen 75, of Cool Ridge, WV went home to be with the Lord on November 15, 2022. Jack was born to the late Richard and Geneva Allen on June 2, 1947.
He is survived by his loving wife Rhonda Allen of cool Ridge, daughter Lindsey and husband Anthony Ross of Cool Ridge, son Mark and wife Kamie Allen of Daniels, brothers; Eddie and wife Sue Allen of Union, Jimmy and wife Trish of Union, sisters; Debbie Wickline of Shawsville, VA, Patricia Bostic of Union, grandson Anthony and wife Summer Ross of Clarksville, TN, Timothy Ross of Cool Ridge, grand-daughters Katelyn Ross of Cool Ridge, Amelia Allen of Daniels, and great-grandsons Jace Lee, and William Jack both of Cool Ridge.
Those who preceded him in death include his parents and sister Betty Stack.
Jack loved his family, friends, and had a special place for his grandchildren. When he wasn't with family he enjoyed his 1977 Red Corvette, watching football, NASCAR, working with his farm tractors. He was a Veteran of the US Army, serving in the Vietnam War where he received 3 Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. He was a devout Christian. Jack will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend to all he met. The family request that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
A gathering will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Blue Ridge Funeral Home with a private burial following at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery in Dunbar, WV. Blue Ridge Funeral Home, 5251 Robert C. Byrd Drive is honored to be serving the Allen family.
