Mr. James E. Crews, 85, of LaGrange, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at Hospice LaGrange. Mr. Crews was born February 17, 1922 in Carroll County, son of the late Wiley Moses and Bunie Cumby Crews. He was retired and was the owner and operator of Crews Music for 39 years.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Juanita Crews; three daughters, Linda Smith, Joyce Alverson and Vickie Crews, son and daughter-in-law, Billy J. and Patsy Crews; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Myrtle Johnson Crews, granddaughter, Lori Parmer, and step-son, Leonard C. Moore.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 Thursday at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Chapel with Pastor Paul Botica officiating. Interment will be at Shadowlawn Cemetery.
