Kris was born April 7, 1974, to Richard and Mary Beth (Klooster) Opper. She grew up in Sand Lake, MI and graduated from Cedar Springs High School in 1992. Kris was passionate about interior design and graduated with her degree in Interior Design in 1994. She continued down this path she loved, working at Ethan Allen in Grand Rapids, gaining not only coworkers but lifetime friends. Kris married the love of her life on September 12, 1998 and had their one and only son, Mason Richard on August 26, 2001.
Kris was vibrant, adventurous, and fun-loving. Her never-ending smile would light up the room. She was always one to have things planned and well organized. Her attention to detail and sense of fashion set her apart from others. She was a "partner in crime". Loved girls' trips, traveling, being with family and friends, and shopping!
She is survived by her loving husband Mario, son Mason, father Richard (Susan) Opper, mother-in-law Minerva Morey, sisters-in-law Cheryl (Robert) Morey, Jeanette (Steven) Skelonc, and Christina Opper, brother-in-law Todd Davis, nieces and nephews Logan, Emerson, Justin, Jeremy, Tyler, Jessica, Nathan, Trevor, Tyler, Madeline, and Brice. Preceded in death by her grandmother June, mother Mary Beth, sister Kimberly Davis, and brother Craig Opper.
