She was born in Dover, Dec. 8, 1905, the daughter of John J. and Georgina (Perry) Lees.
For many years she was employed as a secretary in the office at J.P. Stevens Woolen Mill in Franklin. She also volunteered for many years at Franklin Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Gilman was a former member of the OES and was past noble matron-worthy matron of the Rebekah Lodge, both of Tilton, and member of the Apollo Club in Franklin. She attended the Trinity Episcopal Church in Tilton.
She was predeceased by her husband, Warren S. Gilman, in 1981.
Family members include a daughter, Geraldine "Fay" Kulus of Franklin; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Calvary Independent Baptist Church, School Street, in Tilton. Spring burial will be in Park Cemetery in Tilton.
