Leon Oscar Albritton, 94, of St Cloud, Florida, passed away on January 15, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 22, 1928 to Remer and Mabel (Padgett) Albritton in St. Cloud. Leon worked as a Citrus Grower, Rancher and Heavy Equipment Operator.
Leon is loved and cherished by his family; sons, Robert Albritton and his wife Linda, Remer (Butch) Albritton; daughter in law, Claire Albritton, and son Leonard Thompson and his wife, Karen, all of Florida; son, Marvin (Junior) Thompson and his wife, Cathy of Florida; and son Doug Thompson and his wife, Debbie of Florida. He is also survived by his brother, Stephen Albritton; sisters, Judy (Albritton) Shepherd of Florida, Margarete (Albritton) Pullen of Wylie, Texas and Marian (Albritton) Johnson of Florida; 20 grandchildren, Donnie, Danny, Darrel, Lorri, Michelle, Angie, Heather, Nick, Tony, Justin, Seth, Wesley, Deana, Rhonda, Tiffany, Lawrene, Jodi Ann, JonJon, Jr. and Bubba; many great grandchildren, great -great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Albritton was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lawrene (Roberts) Albritton; brother, William (Billy) Albritton; sister, Lena Mae (Albritton) Freeman; daughter, Linda Albritton and sons, David Albritton and Johnny Roberts.
A memorial service will be conducted at Heartcry Chapel St. Cloud, Florida, with Pastor Leonard Thompson officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery, Funeral Home and Crematory, St. Cloud, Florida.
