Carl Edward "Tub" Albin, 90, of Corydon, died Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Golden Guardians Elder Care in Corydon. He was born January 6, 1933, in New Middletown, Indiana, to the late William Clarence and Mary Edna Biddle Albin.
He was a retired truck driver, was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in New Middletown, was a U.S. Air Force veteran, and loved his cars and trucks.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dortha Louise Anderson Albin; and his brothers, Vallis, William, Jr., Burrell and Ralph Albin.
Survivors include his son, Dennis E. Albin (Jeanie) of Corydon; his daughter, Paula Jane Newton (Jim) of Mauckport Indiana; his grandchildren, Jeff Albin (Tammy), Jim Albin (Kristina), and Victoria Lee; and his great grandchildren, Brandon Albin (Lauren), Meghan Albin, Jenna Albin, Jake Albin, and Blake Albin.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2023 with Rev. Steve McAfee will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
