WEST POINT, Dec. 9 1938.
Funeral services were conducted at Pine Bluff for Lynwood Hill, 24, who died as the result of burns sustained when the "backfire" of a tractor set fire to his clothing. The accident occurred while Hill was attempting to crank the machine. He was rushed to a Houston hospital in critical condition. In attempting to rescue him, His father, Charles M, Hill, suffered painful burns upon the hands and was unable to attend services. His bride of two months, his father and mother, four sisters, Mrs. Louis Simmons and Misses Bama, Carrie Mae and Lucinda Hill, all of Pine Bluff, and five brothers, Rufus, John, Grady, ONeal and Joe Hill, all of Pine Bluff, survive,
