Jean D. (Glass) Dively, 88, of New Enterprise, went to her heavenly home Monday from UPMC Altoona. She was a daughter of the late Lester and Sara Glass.

In July 1950, she married Steward L. Dively. He preceded her in death Oct. 4, 1997; along with a brother, James Glass; and great-grandson, Jaydon Miller.

Surviving are her four children: Jennie Clapper, Blair, Nancy Sharp and Susan Miller; her four sisters: Mary, Coralie, Lou and Judy; a brother, Bradie; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren.

Jean enjoyed being with her family and loved talking, caring for her plants, crocheting baby blankets for newborn grandchildren and going for a ride with her son in the Model A Ford.

At the request of the family, there will be no viewing or services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to your local food bank.
