husband of Doris A.(Richard)LeJeune,son of albert & Felicite(Feenette)LeJeune,worked as Boston Gas Co. &Keyspan energy as a sales rep. & heating engineer for 40 years.Mr. Francis A. LeJeune of Lynn died Wednesday in a local nursing home after a lengthy illness. He is the husband of the late Doris A. (Richard) LeJeune.

Fran was born in Lynn, son of the late Joseph Albert and Felicity (Frenette) LeJeune. He was a graduate of St. Jean Baptiste School and High School Class of 1948 where he was class president and met his late wife Doris. He was a life long resident of Lynn.

Fran worked at Lynn Gas Company, Boston Gas Company and Keyspan Energy as a sales representative and heating Engineer for over 40 years until his retirement in 1990. Following his retirement, he owned and operated his own engraving business and worked part time for the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home.

He was a United States Marine Corps veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.

Fran was a former communicant of St. Jean Baptiste Church where he was a long time member of the mens choir. He was also a member of the Valladolid Council # 70, Knights of Columbus.

He leaves his daughter, Claire Brewer and her husband Paul of Indianapolis, Indiana, two sons; Brian LeJeune of Boston, John LeJeune and his wife Mary Donovan of Gloucester, three Grandchildren; Andrea Dunkerly, Paul Brewer,Jr. and Jason Brewer and 2 great grandchildren; Carter and Olivia Dunkerly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Francis was the last survivor of 17 siblings.

Funeral will be from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn, Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 2-4 & 7-9. Interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
