Judith Ann Green, 70, of Sweetwater, TX, passed away on November 24, 2022 at her home with her grandson by her side after a very brave battle with cancer.
Judy was born in Sweetwater on October 3, 1952 to Eva Anderson and James Barker. After she finished Sweetwater High School (graduating in 1971), she moved to Las Vegas, NV and later lived in Newbury Park, CA before returning to Sweetwater many years later.
Judy was known for her beauty, kindness, intelligence, her love of family and her incredible sense of humor. Judy loved nature, was a fierce protector of children and animals, had a green thumb and a knack for finding treasures amongst the ordinary. Judy saw the world through a unique lens that she graced us with through her art. She was a talented artist who expressed her creativity through painting, sculpting and photography. A regular contributor to her "Around Sweetwater Facebook Group", her iPhotography appeared in several photography publications.
She leaves behind her daughter, Stacie Frazier; her grandson, Austin and his wife Gabby; and her great-grandchildren, Riley, Ethan, Evelyn and Fallon Frazier; her father, James Barker and his wife Melinda and "Alice"; all of whom will miss her dearly.
Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Anderson on July 23, 2006.
A viewing at McCoy Funeral Home is scheduled for Tuesday, November 29, 2022, from 5pm-7pm.
A graveside service will be held at Sweetwater Cemetery on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 1p.m. with Pastor John Swift officiating. Interment will follow directed by McCoy Funeral Home.
