She worked as an RN for over 20 years at MedCentral Mansfield, leaving in 2011. Clarissa enjoyed raising orchids, completing crossword puzzles and collecting jewelry.
Clarissa is survived by her husband of nearly 52 years, Ed Aban; three sons, Russell (Welyn) Aban, Descartes (Jennifer) Aban and Rembrandt Aban; two grandchildren, Haley and Kelvin Aban; a sister, Norma Castillo; two brothers, Rommel (Jane) Castillo and Von (Linda) Castillo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 104 W. First Street, Mansfield.
