Janette married the love of her life, Bryan Alderson, on August 1, 1975, in Fullerton, California. Together they raised their son, Steve Alderson to work hard, love and care for those around him, and live life to its fullest.
Janette never met a stranger!! It was very common for her to know as much about the staff at her favorite restaurant as she did about her family and friends. She definitely thrived in social environments and just loved being surrounded by friends, family, co-workers, or anyone else that just wanted to talk, laugh, and enjoy life!
Janette was an amazing cook and enjoyed scouring through cookbooks and magazines for the next dish she was going to make for the family. She was an avid reader, and loved to garden, listen to music, dance, play cards, bowl, or just sit and talk with family and friends (or anyone else!!)
But by far, her two greatest passions in life were her pets and her role as grandma to her two grandchildren. She was happiest when she was spending time with the grandkids teaching them to cook, garden, or just sitting talking and listening for hours to what was going on in their lives.
Janette was preceded in death by her father, Curtis Toney, mother, Lola Toney, brothers, Jack Toney & Charles Toney, sisters, Maria Wyneken & Ruth Duke, a nephew, John Allen. Janette is survived by her husband Bryan Alderson, son and daughter in law, Steven & Jessica Alderson, granddaughter, Samantha Alderson, grandson, Brayden Alderson, brother-in-law & sister, Pat & Lisha Egan, nephews, Josh Egan, Michael Egan and Jim Duke.
nieces, Tina Busby, Jaclyn Bonar, Melanie Hagen & Toni Boozer.
