Charles Edward Sheppard, 35, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Sheppard of Parkersburg, route 21, died Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. at the Camden-Clark Memorial hospital.
Mr. Sheppard was born at Palestine, September 19, 1911 and was the third oldest son of the family.
In addition to his parents he is survived by one son, Robert; two daughters, Nancy and Dorothy; four brothers, Henry E. and James L. of Akron, Frank L. and Harry L. Sheppard of Vienna; two sisters, Mr. H. I. Rounds of Akron and Mrs. C. H. Blair of Vienna; an uncle, J. W. Sheppard, severa. nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles residing in and near Parkersburg.
The funeral services were scheduled for Thursday afaternoon this week at 3 p.m. from the chapel of the Ogdlin Funeral Home in Parkersburg with the Rev. F. M. Tolbert, pastor of the Vienna Bapatist church, and the rev. V. R. Gilliam, pastor of the Wesley Methodist church, officiating. Interment in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
