Minerva Roab Halgren, 70, wife of M. P. Halgren, died at 6 p. m. Friday in the Vermillion County Hospital following a two months illness. Her death was attributed to a heart ailment.

Mrs. Halgren who was born at Fairmount, Illinois, came to Clinton to live 19 years ago from Oxford, Ind.

She was a member of the Clinton Methodist Church.

Surviving relatives include the husband; one son, Ross Halgren of Indianapolis; a granddaughter, Mary Ellen Halgren: four sisters, Mrs. Dollle Miller of Oak Pork. Illinois, Mrs. Lottie Reynolds of St. Anthony, Idaho; Mrs. Mattle Drollinger of Ogden, Utah and Mrs. Lydia Wood of Ashton, Idaho; and one brother, Frank Ross of Danville, Illinois.
