Rites Set Wednesday Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Blakesley, 87, Mulhall, a Logan County resident since 1889, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Smith Memorial Chapel. Rev. Jim Anthis, Pawnee, will officiate and burial will be in Rose Lawn cemetery, Mulhall. Mrs. Blakesley died Monday morning (November 22, 1965) in her home in Mulhall, after an illness. She was born January 25, 1878, in Knoxville, Iowa, coming to Logan County in 1889. She was a member of the Methodist Concord church, Knoxville, Iowa. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Lillie Ellis and Mrs. Delilah Beesley, both of Mulhall, and Mrs. Eva Bond, El Monte, California; two sons, John Blakesley, Fontana, California, and George Blakesley, Mulhall; one brother, Roy W. Kennedy, Mulhall; eight grandchildren; 23 great- grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
