Alice Marie Crosthwaite affectionately known as Marie, age 83 passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, August 25, 2022. She was born on October 19, 1938, in Hume, Missouri. Marie is survived by her siblings Georgia (Jack) Maitland, William "Bill" Henry (Jane Stimer), Mae Smith, Debra Henry (Frank Newhook). Marie is also survived by her 5 children Larry Marks, Gary (Melissa) Crosthwaite, Carolyn (Gordon) Case, Heather (Brian) Ayers and Terry Ritter,
8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Lou and Rose, her brother Harry, grandson David, daughter in-law Jean and her loving husband Robert "Bob" Crosthwaite in 2015.
Marie was known for her love for her family, her church, her country and friends. She enjoyed researching ancestry, photography, rock collecting, cooking for her loved ones, bird watching her hummers, planting and maintaining her flowers. Marie once said there was no better feeling than getting a weed out with the whole root intact. She always had a smile on her face and loved posing for a photograph. She will be greatly missed by her family and loved ones.
