Carol A. (Somrak) Brooks, passed peacefully September 13, 2022. She was born November 8, 1937 in Indianapolis to Anthony F. and Angelene H. Somrak.

Carol worked as a nurse for several years in the Indianapolis area and had a strong compassion for animals.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Dennis Allen.

She is survived by her sister, Rosemary Schaefer; her children, Kevin (Sharon) Allen, Martha (John) Felgenhauer and Anthony (Julie) Allen; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nephew

Final arrangements and care entrusted to Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel.
