Julia Mace Bell, age 99 and 8 months, was called to Heaven on September, 4, 2022. Julia was born on January, 15, 1923 to Fred and Grace Holland in North Carolina. She was a long time resident of Newport News, Virginia. She married Vernon Mace in 1937 and had five children.

Julia was a Godly woman who dedicated her life to the Lord. She was a faithful member of Warwick Assembly of God. She enjoyed driving to Hardee's for a biscuit and coffee every morning and talking to her son every night.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Grace Holland; her first husband and love of her life, Vernon Mace, second husband Willie Bell; her two daughters Patty and Lynda; her daughter-in-law, Phyllis; her first born, Shirley; her brothers , Howard and Cecil; sisters, Dottie, Bert and Bernice.

Service to be officiate by her nephew, Michael Butler. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Parklawn Wood Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
