Mrs. Angeline Mebane Abbott of 2911 W. Vandalia Road, died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at Wesley Long Hospital.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Celia Phelps Memorial United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Burial will follow in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Abbott was a native of Guilford County and retired from the Guilford County School System. At church, she was active with the United Methodist Women, the Chancel choir and the Gospel choir.
She is survived by daughters, Brenda Grant of Charlotte and Janice Lee Grant of Martinsville, Va.; sisters, Mary Morton of Pittsburgh, Pa., Willie Mae Cathey and Patsy Stroud, both of Greensboro; and a grandchild, Marquise Grant of Martinsville, Va.
Visitation will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
