Penny Anne Coen, 60, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital. Born November 21, 1961 in Detroit, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late Ervin Arthur and Lillian Alice (Young) Rothenstine.

After high school, Penny proudly served her country in the U. S. Army. She has been a resident of the Twin City area for many years and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker who loved caring for her family.

She met the love of her life Michael E. "Mick" Coen and began their long relationship in 1981, eventually marrying him on December 22, 2001. Mick survives her along with their son, Michael Coen, and grandson, Shain Coen. Her siblings, Ervin Rothenstine Jr., Allison (Ronald) Lillie, and Becky (Tim) Coen, and numerous nieces and nephews complete the family. She will also be deeply missed by many dear friends.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 2nd, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in West Union Cemetery near Gilmore. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions honoring Penny's memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
