Born in Jersey City, Mr. Williams lived in Jackson for the past 11 years. Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. He had worked for 36 years for the Westinghouse Elevator Company as a mechanic and supervisor before retiring.
Predeceased by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary Williams (nee Madison), he is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, John P. and Marianne Williams of East Brunswick and Philip R. and Faith Williams of Howell, and sons, Patrick A. Williams of South River and David P. Williams of Bethlehem, Pa.; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Susan and Joseph Ferdinando of Martinsville and Karen Ann and Andrew Katz of East Brunswick; also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren.
