Roy Terry, 82, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022, in Jackson.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm Tuesday August 23, 2022, at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel in Kosciusko. Interment will follow at Sallis Cemetery in Sallis, MS.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 12 noon until 2:00 pm at Culpepper Funeral Home in Kosciusko.
Roy is survived by his wife Shirley Payne Terry, his sons Tony Terry (Paula) and Chris Terry (Rosie), his brother Charles Terry, his sisters Elsie Wulff and Polly Day and one grandson Luke Terry.
Roy was a member of Sallis Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and a former teacher, coach, and Headmaster. He coached at Benton Academy, Philadelphia, and Kosciusko. He was a graduate of Delta State University.
He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Sadie Wooten Terry, his sisters, Margaret Still, Avis Humphreys, and Lucy Harrell.
