MARS HILL - July 17, 1957 - Mrs. Geneva Harris, 30, died yesterday afternoon in a Black Mountain hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in Shady Grove Baptist Church in Flag Pond, Tennessee, RFD 1.
The Rev. Lloyd Ponder will officiate, and burial will be in Divide Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, Alvin Harris; a daughter, Judy Carol; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dempsey Metcalf of Stocksville; and two brothers, Richard of Stocksville, and Donald of Mars Hill.
