Marie A. Spielman at the age of 89 entered into eternal rest on September 22, 2012. She was born in New York, New York to John and Sarah Spielman. Marie worked as a clerk in a gift shop in Astoria for many years. She was a volunteer with the Lighthouse for the Blind, an individual counselor for students in sacrament preparation, a CCD teacher, a devoted member of the Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church Choir, and the Past President of the Columbiettes. Visitation will be held at the Ozanam Hall located at 42-41 201st Street Bayside, NY 11361 on Thursday, September 27, 2012, from 10:00 - 10:30 AM and the Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Woodside.
