Jill Abrams, 75, Mahanoy Plane, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Atmore, Alabama, she was a daughter of the late Aaron and Annie Stein Rackard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion of 50 years, Robert Hank; her brothers: Aaron Rackard Jr. and Jackie Rackard; her sisters: Gail Ruberton and Billy Jo Morehauser.
Jill is survived by her daughters: Sherri Rooney and her husband Stephen, Ashland; Terry Clemson and her husband David, Tamaqua; Shannon Butler and her companion Jesus Martinez, Mahanoy Plane; her son, Arthur Abrams Jr. and his wife Amy, Florida; her brother, Robert Rackard, Georgia; her sisters: Joann Welch, New Jersey and Johnnie Ruth Chappine, New Jersey; her seven loving grandchildren: Jeremy, Jess, Corrine, Kevin, Shawn, Shane and Seth; her five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
