Daily Press 10 Nov 1970 – Chesapeake – Mrs. Carrie Lee Parham, 74, 214 Salt Pond Road, Hampton, died Sunday in Patrick Henry Hospital after a long illness.
Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. L. V. Showalter of Norfolk, Mrs. John Wilkins, Mrs. W. Z. Weir, Mrs. L. T. Tucker, Mrs. F. E. Tucker, all of Hampton, Mrs. M. W. Wright of Seaford and Mrs. G. A. Paulson of Colorado; three sons, Donald Blankenship of Amelia, Herschel Blankenship and Albert Blankenship, both of Hampton; brothers, Braskey Treadway and Carver Treadway of Tennessee, 32 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home by the Rev. Charles M. Evans of Gospel Tabernacle Baptist Church. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Arvel Blankenship, Alvin Blankenship, Guy Lee Ervin, Robert Ervin, Herbert Showalter, Frankie Tucker, Lester Bollinger, Clarence Rice, Tommie Tucker, Norman Tucker, Loren Shelton Jr., Frankie Ervin and John Rice.
