1959. Mr. Todd was born in the Pee Dee section of Horry County on Feb. 4, 1911,
a son of the late Sam and Mary Skipper Todd. He operated a grill on US Highway
378 about 1 1/2 miles west of Conway.
Surviving are his widow, Gussie Martin Todd; four sons, James E. Todd, Rt. 4
Conway, Ernest Joe Todd, High Point NC, L. G. Todd Rt. 3 Conway,
and Carlton Todd, Rt. 3 Conway; two daughters Mrs. Robert Jordan and Miss
Estaline Todd, both of Rt. 3 Conway; three brothers, Victor Todd, J. M. Todd
both of Rt. 3 Conway, and Henry Todd, Aiken; four sisters Mrs. W. G. Lewis, Rt.
3 Conway, Mrs. Marion Session Star, Route 1 Conway, Mrs. Emerson Cooper and Mrs.
Leo Hardwick both of Rt. 3 Conway; and ten grandchildren.
