Frederick Earl "Fred" Dulaney, 83, of the Long Point community, died today in Trinity Care Center in Brenham. He was born June 11, 1920 in Rome, Texas to Clarence Lee and Lela Williams Dulaney.
After graduating from Reagan High School in Houston, he served as an Army medic in the Pacific Theater during WW II. On Feb. 22, 1948 he and Anita Elaine Neinast of Somerville were married in Houston.
Fred was a furniture warehouse supervisor for Joskes and Dillards. He retired from that position and moved to Washington County in 1985.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife in 2002; brothers, Clarence Lee (Jack) Jr. and Carl Ray; and sisters, Mary Arfele and Evelyn Noark.
The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 12 at First Lutheran Church of Somerville with Pastor Virgil Pecht officiating.
