Sally was born in Aurora, Illinois to Roland and Marian Jensen (Kline). After a previous marriage, she married James Einck in 1986. She and Jim were married 36 years, and together they had a blended family that included 4 children: Denise, Douglas, Laura, and Deanna. Sally is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Nancy, and is survived by her husband, their 4 children, and 4 grandchildren: Andrew, Tyler, Abigail, and Kayla.

In 1978, Sally moved from Illinois to Arizona where she earned her Associates Degree from Glendale Community College. She worked as an Office Manager in the pharmaceutical industry and an engineering firm. She and Jim moved to Indiana and lived there for about 13 years. Some years later, while living in Indiana, she began working only part-time so she could dedicate most of her time to being a homemaker. Later, they moved back to Arizona where she retired.

Sally thoroughly enjoyed making her house a home, she took quilting to an artform, loved to knit & crochet, was a fantastic cook & baker, was an avid reader, liked animals (especially dogs), and really enjoyed traveling. Her garden and flowers were always so beautiful. She had a green thumb, and could grow almost anything, but especially spectacular tomatoes! She was a member of two local quilting clubs, and she volunteered at a Humane Society. She was also an avid sports fan who loved watching and cheering for her favorite teams – The Phoenix Suns and the Arizona Cardinals.

Sally loved her family and is remembered by others for her kindness and thoughtfulness. She was known for always sending cards, notes, and gifts. She never forgot you. If you didn't get a message from anyone else, you would always get one from her. She had a contagious laugh and laughed often. She has left behind many stories and memories of a life well-lived. She was a good friend and was always there for everyone who needed her.

After a 2-year battle, and a valiant fight, Sally succumbed to cancer. She passed away at home with her husband and family by her side.

There will be no memorial service and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a local Humane Society, St. Mary's Food Bank, or a cancer center.
