Kimberly was born on October 28, 1974, and left this earth after a valiant fight with breast cancer on June 18, 2022. She grew up in Glen Ellyn, IL, and graduated Glenbard West High School in 1992. She moved to the Phoenix area in 1995, where she honed her craft at the Town of Gilbert. After a few years on her own, she worked her way up to Principle of Building Plan Review at Stantec in Phoenix.

Kim was a loving and devoted mother to Shannon, and survived by her parents, Patti and Gary, her loving brother, Jason McKenna (Anne), and Shannon's Dad Luke Coyne. Oh, and of course her other brother Matthew McKenna (Tracy), nephews Connor and Liam McKenna, plus numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.

Kim had a radiant smile, contagious laugh, and would light up any room that she entered. She was selfless and others always came first.

If you were lucky enough to meet her, you know that she was a true McKenna with her quick wit, dark humor, & comedic conversations. If you were unlucky to meet her, then you were a victim of her quick wit, dark humor, & other McKenna...isms. (Thanks, Chief Krueger!)

Kim will leave an enormous hole in all our hearts, but we were all so honored to have had a chance for her to touch our lives.
ZIVIO KIM!
