Cecil Ray Anderson, age 85 of Cookeville, Tennessee, a native of Sparta, Tennessee, passed away at 11:00pm Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Cecil was born January 4, 1937 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Herbert Anderson and Lela Arnold Anderson. His work career began at Western Auto in Sparta and he retired as Vice President of Marketing for United Dairy Farmers in Cincinnati, Ohio. Cecil was a veteran of the United States Army and he served as a deacon
at Eaton Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife Margaret Ellen Thompson Anderson who died on March 5, 2013 and his brother Gene Anderson.
Survivors include his two sons Stan Anderson and wife Michelle of Ohio, David Anderson of Tennessee.
Three grandchildren: Zachary Anderson, Ashton Anderson and Michael Anderson.
Graveside services will be conducted at Highland Cemetery with full military honors
by the Veterans Honor Guard. There will be no visitation prior to the service
