Arthur (Abraham) was born in either 1878 or 1876 in Gorke, Czechoslovakia, the loved son of Jacob (Jakob) & Regina (Regi) Messinger and beloved husband of Julia (nee Gelb) Messinger.

He had 12 siblings, including Joseph Molnar (Messinger) and Sidonia (Cidunia) Weiss.

And went on to have two children Andrew Messinger and Edith (Dushanka) Nachman (Nedic/Neditch).

Arthur was a civil engineer in Hungary. In 1917 he was taken as prisioner of war to Krasnoyarsk, Siberia 1917. During World War II, he and his wife, Julia (nee Gelb) Messinger were taken to Banjica concentration camp, where Arthur was shot to death.
