Mrs. Buckner, well known as "Grandma" to those who knew and loved her, was born in Madison County to the late H. Grady Teague and Nancy Cassada Teague. She was also preceded in death by a son, Coleman Richard "Rickey" Buckner, a granddaughter, Laura Lynn Buckner, and a brother, Hubert Teague.
Mrs. Buckner was a member of Leicester United Methodist Church.
She was a charter member of the Leicester Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
She and her husband established Buckner's Dairy Farm. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and loved flowers, gardening, cooking, the Gaither Videos, and going to town.
In addition to her husband, Coleman, she is survived by two daughters, a daughter-in-law, wife of deceased son, Rickey, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Newfound Baptist Church Cemetery.
