Ryland Lewis Harris, 68, of Mineral, died Monday, January 14, 2008.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert D. Harris.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne Hicks Harris; his brother, Charles W. Harris of Richmond; his sisters, Ann H. Doss of Virginia Beach, and Rachael H. Christman of Hampton.
His remains rested at the Lacy Funeral Home, Route 522, Mineral, where the family received friends from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm on Thursday. Funeral services were held at 2pm on Friday in Hopeful Baptist Church, with interment in church cemetery.
Ryland was a hunter safety instructor for the state of Virginia.
