Mary Lou Whittemore Curtis Miller, 78, of Asheville, died Monday, July 10, 2006, at her home.
Mrs. Miller was a daughter of the late Elmer Clarence and Bessie Mae Moss Whittemore. She was married to Robert Lewis Curtis, Sr., who died in 1976, and Julius Bynum (J.B.) Miller, who died in 2000, and was also preceded in death by a sister, Frances Whittemore and a brother, Clarence Whittemore.
She was a lifelong Christian who loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was a member of Crossroads Assembly of God.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Jean Kunkle and her husband, Dean, and two sons, Robert Lewis Curtis, Jr. and his wife, Cathy, and Clarence Paul Curtis, all of Asheville; step-children, Beth Melton and her husband, Donnie, of Jacksonville, FL, Chip Miller and his wife, Myra, of Charlotte, and Buddy Miller and his wife, Robin, of Asheville; one brother, Ray Whittemore, fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Burial will follow at Big Ivy Cemetery
