Parents: Sir Hugh William Hoyles and Jean Liddell (1813–1886)
Both her parents died at Halifax, Nova Scotia. Currently Hugh Hoyles' Find-a-Grave Memorial is at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, St. John's, which is certainly incorrect since that cemetery opened in the 1940s. If his body was ever returned to Newfoundland, it would have been to the family plot at Forest Road Anglican Cemetery. But he and his wife may be buried in Nova Scotia.
