Died - of Consumption, in the City of Phillipsburg, Kansas on Monday night, Dec 22d, at 12 o'clock. William M. McCormick, aged 20 years, 4 months and 27 days, second son of Mr. and Mrs. N.B. McCormick. The funeral service were held at the M.E. Church on Tuesday, Dec. 23d, at 3:00 o'clock p.m. Rev. E.H. Fleisher officiating. "Will" was an exemplary young man who gave promise of great usefulness. His life has been cut off on earth, but who can doubt that he has gone into a higher department, or state of existence, where his mental faculties may continue to expand through all eternity.
