An Army veteran and a 1945 graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine.
Practiced medicine for more than 30 years in Stockwell. He had also been employed by Purdue University Health Services for eight years before retiring in 1986.
Member of St. James Lutheran Church.
Survivors include:
Wife, Ada Alvina Wilhelmnine (Zimmer) Babb;
1 son, Forrest J. Babb III of Stockwell;
1 daughter, Karen Paone of Albuquerque, N.M.;
1 sister, Shirley Ingalls of Bedford.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
Services at St. James Lutheran Church in Lafayette with Pastor Daniel May officiating.
Interment at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette.
Memorial contributions may be made to the IU School of Medicine.
