Leo A. Gallagher, 79, Sarasota, and formerly of Port Charlotte, died Feb. 10, 2005. He was born June 29, 1925, in Sharon, Pa., and came to the area in 1984 from Lakeland where he was self-employed in a mobile home park. He was an Army paratrooper in World War II. Survivors include his wife, Garnett D.; a daughter, Connie L. Bartlett of California; sons Leo A. Jr. of California, Gerald L. of Maryland, and Ronald L. of Sarasota; and 10 grandchildren. Burial will be at sea. Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, is in charge.
