Dear friends OF SHERYL McCURTIS ON FACEBOOK. I am WILLIAM McCURTIS....Sheryls husband of 36-years. I must sadly announce that my dear wife went to be with GOD on July 14th, this year. I was in Logan, UT., delivering a load when I was notified of her passing. As per her wishes, she was cremated. A memorial service will be held by her brother...Pastor DUANE STANTON....in MICHIGAN, as soon as I forward her ashes to him. We were planning to go home to TX., for good. She missed it SO MUCH and I will fulfill her wish. As an U.S.ARMY VET., her turn will be beside me in my coffin when it is my time.
I want to thank you ALL for being her friend, since she physically could no longer climb into the truck to go with me. As the only one able to work, I was forced to leave her in the care of our landlord/ friend and his wife, and they were excellent! Well....the highways of this country will be lonesome for me, now. After 49-years as an over-the-road "Trucker", and "Heavy Hauler", this holds me no more. In a couple of months, I will step down for good, and finish what she wanted me to.
In a few days, I will shut this phone off for good and keep it beside her urn. Please do not be sad for her. All o FCC her problems are done here on this earth....she is at piece and with Family, friends, JESUS, and GOD ALMIGHTY.
