HENRY L. ("DICK") DYER,
GLOBE EMPLOYE, DEAD
Henry L. ("Dick") Dyer, connected with newspaper composing rooms for 50 years and affiliated with the Boston Globe for most of that time, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home, 18 Weld Hill st, Forest Hills, yesterday.
"Dick" Dyer was a jovial personage well liked by all with whom he came in contact. He was actively interested in the affairs of the Boston Typographical Union and was affiliated with several organizations including the Franklin Society, Globe Relief Association, Horace Greeley Lodge, K. P., and the South Boston Yacht Club.
He was born in Portland, Me. 66 years ago, Surviving is his wife, Mrs. Agnes Reynolds Dyer. Funeral services will be held at his home, Sunday. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
