The death of Mrs. John Shippen Jr. of Shinnecock, occurred at the home of her sister Mrs. Carson, in Princeton, New Jersey, where she was visiting. She was 22 years of age. The remains were brought to Southampton and the funeral was held in the Advent church, Shinnnecock, the Rev. Mr Giles of New York, conducting the services. The interment was in the Shinnecock cemetery. She was married last spring to John Shippen Jr., the noted Golf player.
