Ronald N. Assaf passed away February 24, 2022 where he suffered dearly with ALS. Ronald joined the Army National Guard in 1964 serving his 6 years. In 1968 he went to work with the City of Jacksonville with the sewer department. In 1974 he transferred to JSO retiring in 1995. Ron went to work for Jacksonville Kennel Club in 2002 as security and after 17 years there he retired in December 2019.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tony and mother, Dorothy. He leaves to mourn his death his wife of 53 years, Myra, one daughter, Melissa and two grandchildren, Atticus and Maximus. He has one brother, Robert (Jackie), sister Maryann Harvey (Bob) and Margaret Bean along with many nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be on Thursday March 3 from 6 to 8 at Cedar Bay Funeral Home. Services on Friday at 11 am at the funeral home with burial following at Greenlawn Cemetery on Beach Blvd.

In closing I would like to say he was a wonderful husband and father who will be dearly missed. He was a simple man living the simple life he wanted. A man who truly believed in the Lord.
